- Fall Career Expo with Golf Tournament and Networking Social
- A three day event including an informational on the first day, a Golf Tournament during the day and a networking social later that night, and the Career Expo on the third day.
- Scramble Style Golf Tournament with two industry reps and two students per team.
- Prizes given for the top teams in the tournament.
- Day long Career Fair that includes 50+ companies looking for internships or full time employment.
- Spring Career Fair with Casino Social
- Another Three day event including an informational on the first day, a Casino Social the second day and the Career Fair on the third day.
- Casino style social where students can interact casually with industry guests in a fun and creative way without the pressure of resumes or suits.
- Prizes will be awarded at the end of the event in a raffle style. Last year, we raffled away a Kindle and a DVD Blu-ray player.
- Day long Career Fair that includes 50+ companies looking for internships or full time employment.
- PowerLunches
- On the Fermier lawn, students will have the opportunites to sit down and enjoy free food while talking to industry guests in a very laid back manner.
- Food will be provided from a local catering service and is included with student dues.
- Business Meetings
- Formal presentation from industry representatives about their companies.
- One-on-one interaction between industry guests and students to ask questions and learn as much as possible about their company.
- Dinner will be provided at each event and students have the opportunity to vote on what food will be served. View the event page under the calander section for the voting link.
- Intern for a Day
- Companies will host an internship program that will last one day.
- Through this event, students will get a hands on feel for how the company works and learn as much as they can about the people behind the company.
- Selection for this event begins with a signup and companies will choose who they want to attend.
- Resume Review
- Students will have to opportunity to talk with the PAID offircers in a one-on-one situation about their resume.
- Offered once a semester and is very beneficial because it is close to the Career Fair or Expo that semester.
- The Career Center also comes to Fermier conference room for two days to provide the same service.
- Career Center representatives have years of experience working as recruiters so they know what recruiters are looking for.
