Supply Chain Analyst (Full Time) – Houston, TX
A&C Plastics is looking for a Supply Chain graduate with attention to detail who will gauge the efficiency of supply chain operations and develop new processes for our company. The Supply Chain Analyst does this by collecting data on supply chain progress with the use of our current ERP system – Epicor P21.
To be successful as a Supply Chain Analyst, you must have excellent analytical skills and pay close attention to detail. A good Supply Chain Analyst communicates with several departments to evaluate and improve operations.
HOURS: Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
COMPENSATION: Base Salary plus Benefits

- Responsible for ordering all materials for Houston, Colorado Springs, and Schiller Park warehouses
- Ensure proper delivery of materials by managing import and domestic shipments.
- Coordinate with receiving office and warehouse to manage inventory and adjust as needed.
- Collaborate with sales team to answer RFQ’s and source material.
- Analyze vendor quotes and select products from suppliers based on price, quality, service, and lead times.
- Coordinate with accounting concerning pricing disputes or purchase order discrepancies.
- Assist sales with customer product issues through communication with manufacturers and processing claims.
- Continuously develop inventory management skills.
- Have negotiation skills
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS/ REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST have prior experience with Supply Chain Management: Purchasing, Warehouse, ERP Systems.
- MUST already hold a degree in Supply Chain
- Ability to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions from them
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to adapt to any workload/position and willing to learn
- Experienced with Microsoft Excel
- Database knowledge is a plus
