The graphic above depicts research done in 2021-2022 on the process of philanthropic partnership and measuring overall effectiveness. Following this process and the discussion points included at each step, PAID has become more involved in philanthropic activities since this has been a point of interest from the members of PAID. From a 2021 survey, 75.5% of the 70 respondents indicated that they have interest in philanthropy activities through PAID. This development is a great opportunity for the members of PAID to participate in service projects, and these experiences can look great on a resume or set an individual apart in an interview.
PAID has become more involved with Big Event at Texas A&M. Considering these opportunities through the lens of the Philanthropic Partnership Process, this is a great opportunity for PAID to participate in service projects. The culture of PAID is heavily influenced by the professional development aspects. With this in mind, offering chances to serve the community for a couple hours without a huge time commitment is a great way to get our members involved. After measuring the success of Big Event, PAID has explored opportunities to serve the community further through Adopt-A-Street.
