Combining Education and Community – Way to Go Dr. Natrajarathinam

Dr. Malini Natarajarathinam has been chosen to be one of the “20 Under 40” standout engineering and engineering technology faculty. In the May/June 2018 issue, The American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE’s) flagship magazine, Prism honors 20 High-Achieving researchers and educators under 40 as “early risers” and “young pacesetters” for their demonstrated talent for teaching and/or research with real world impact. Dr. Malini’s recognition spotlights her work with the “Hunger-free Texas” initiative, where she engages about 100 students a year with food banks and food pantries in the state of Texas to improve their distribution operations efficiency and increase the agencies’ impact on their community.
